DO YOU OFFER TELETHERAPY AND/ OR IN PERSON SERVICES?
I currently offer secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy sessions to clients residing in California and Texas. This virtual format allows us to meet consistently and conveniently, while maintaining the depth and integrity of the therapeutic process. I do not offer in- person therapy at this time.
WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
When third-party payers are involved in psychotherapy, they often influence the course of treatment in ways that may not serve your best interest. Insurance companies may limit the number of sessions you receive, require access to sensitive personal health information, or place restrictions on the types of therapy that can be provided. In many cases, this introduces administrative hurdles and forces your therapist to justify the clinical necessity of your care—distracting from the healing work itself.
By choosing to invest in your therapy privately, you retain full autonomy over your treatment—its direction, duration, and depth. This approach allows us to preserve the sacredness of the therapeutic space and ensures that your care is shaped by your needs, not by policy limitations.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT OUT OF THERAPY?
Therapy, like the spiritual life, is a pilgrimage—a journey of transformation that begins with your fiat, your “yes” to the healing God desires for you. While I bring clinical expertise and compassionate guidance, it is your willingness to engage that breathes life into the process. Just as Christ knocks gently at the door of our hearts, inviting us into deeper communion, I will walk beside you as you respond to that call with courage and trust. The more open your heart is to the work, the more space grace has to move.
